New Choice Association is a non-profit legal entity for carrying out activities in the public interest. It was registered in 2005 in the Veliko Turnovo Regional Court and re-registered in 2011 in the Blagoevgrad District Court. The association is a member of BALIZ and currently manages social services on the territory of the municipality of Kresna-CSC, CSRI for children and adults with disabilities. 25% of the users of the centers have intellectual and mental problems.
Mission of the organization: To work for the protection and promotion of human rights in the direction of improving the well-being of children and persons at risk in the Republic of Bulgaria.
Main objective of the organization: To implement in practice the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ratified in the Republic of Bulgaria in 2012, by providing social services in the community and implementing programs and projects for the social inclusion of people with disabilities, children and families at risk.
